Within easy reach of central Dublin, the prestigious Fairyhouse Racecourse hosts one of the main events on Ireland’s sporting calendar: All eyes are on the Irish Grand National on Easter Monday. There are meetings and festivals all year round though, with flat racing in summer, such as the Listed Belgrave Stakes in July, and National Hunt events in winter, like the Premier Jumps Racing Weekend in early-December.
