Course details
Dubai’s Meydan Racecourse in Meydan City features a record-breaking grandstand. Seating 60,000 it’s the longestest single man-made structure in the world, and was unveiled in 2010. There are two courses at Meydan, an 8.75-furlong dirt track and 11.9-furlong turf course, both left-handed. The most valuable race of the season is the Dubai World Cup, run on the last weekend of March. On this night the prize money has been known to hit $25 million.
