Punchestown
Course details
Punchestown hardly needs introduction, thanks to its position as the main National Hunt venue in Ireland, which puts it firmly on the world racing map. The season is from autumn to early-summer, because Punchestown is jumps-only. The climax of the National Hunt season takes place here in April, at the fabled Irish National Hunt Festival, which alone holds as many as 12 races with Grade 1 status.
